Located approximately 15 minutes by car from downtown Santa Cruz do Sul, on the border with Borges de Medeiros Lane, the iron bridge over the Pardinho River has a rich and intriguing history. It was imported by Casa Marcínio Moraes e Mattos from Porto Alegre in 1898, as indicated by the sign fixed to it. This structure has witnessed the passage of time and the transformation of the region over the years.
With the capacity to support up to 3 tons of weight, this bridge underwent its last renovation in 2022, guaranteeing safe passage over the river for vehicles, pedestrians and animals. The area is also home to other interesting places, such as the Evangelical Lutheran Church Ponte Rio Pardinho and an antique house, that represents the traditional local architecture.
